Recently, Bracken Wooten, a Fifth grade student at Falcon Ridge Elementary, took second place in the State at the Central Utah STEM Fair for his STEM project. His project, A Salty Mystery, was a chemistry experiment in which he tested to see if the amount of salt put into a sugary dessert recipe affected the taste of the dessert. The results were to use the amount of salt called for in a recipe, no salt in a recipe or double the salt in a recipe. Congratulations Bracken for your hard work and for representing Falcon Ridge Elementary well! We also want to congratulate our other students who attended the STEM Fair and who also worked hard on their projects!
